Past Tense agrees with gender + number, not person

я/ты/вы use the gender of the speaker. "я читал" (male speaker) vs "я читала" (female speaker)

Present Tense agrees with person + number — gender irrelevant

Only imperfective verbs have a present tense. Perfective verbs have no present.

Future — Imperfective ongoing / repeated action · буду + infinitive

ты / you будешь читать you will be reading

он/она / he/she будет читать he/she will be reading

мы / we будем читать we will be reading

вы / you all будете читать you all will be reading

они / they будут читать they will be reading

The infinitive читать stays fixed. Only буду conjugates — same pattern as present tense conjugation.

Future — Perfective completed one-time action · прочитать conjugated directly

Notice the endings are identical to present tense. Context and the про- prefix signal futurity, not a separate ending pattern.
